Audit Provides Recommendations to MassDOT Aeronautics Division12:00PM / Sunday, July 03, 2022 | | BOSTON — In an audit of Massachusetts Department of Transportation Aeronautics Division, the Office of State Auditor (OSA) found the Aeronautics Division failed to meet a number of administrative requirements. The audit found the Aeronautics Division does not have a business continuity plan (BCP) or an internal control plan (ICP). The audit also noted that not all employees signed acceptable use policies and/or completed cyber security awareness training. Additionally, it was noted that policies and procedures related to the Aeronautics Division's pilot program for unmanned aircraft systems (drones) should be strengthened. On Tuesday and Wednesday, crews will be milling Appleton, Stratford, and Belvedere avenues, and Howard, and ElmView Terrace. PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The city has received more than $42,000 to expand the concept of the Downtown Creative District in the West Side and Morningside neighborhoods. The goal is to alleviate barriers caused by zoning and modernize the city's ordinance. On Tuesday, the City Council accepted a $41,250 grant from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs for the endeavor. Depending on the budget, both neighborhoods may not make the cut but the focus is on the West Side.
