READSBORO, Vt. — A 34-year-old Connecticut woman was seriously injured Saturday afternoon after losing control of her snowmobile.
Nicole Daulizio of Beacon Falls was taken by a LifeNet helicopter to Albany, N.Y., Medical Center after reportedly suffering from contusions, including head injuries, and possible internal bleeding.
State police were called to a private property on Oberdorf Road just before 4 p.m. for a report of a snowmobile crash. READSBORO, Vt. — A New York man incurred minor injuries on Friday afternoon when he lost control of his motorcycle and it hit a retaining wall.
Michael Bolognani, 19, of Hoosick Falls, was northbound on Main Street on his 2009 Kawasaki Versys Main Street when he slid off the roadway and collided with a retaining wall, reported state Trooper Nicholas J. Cervero of the Shaftsbury barracks.
The accident occurred near the county line at about 4 p.m. The weather conditions were clear and the road paved.

READSBORO, Vt. — A Readsboro man who allegedly assaulted someone with a 2x4 is wanted on charges of first-degree attempted murder and aggravated assault.
Law enforcement authorities have been unable to locate Craven since the incident was reported last Monday.
State police say Alfred Craven, 48, beat a 53-year-old Searsburg man so badly he suffered a skull and multiple facial fractures and a broken jaw.
According to Detective Sgt. James Wright, the victim walked into the Emergency Department at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington at about 7 p.m. on Sept. 4.

WHITINGHAM, Vt. — A single-vehicle accident seriously injured a passenger early Thursday morning on Tunnel Street, a mile north of Bosley Hill Road.
It took more than an hour for the Readsboro Fire Department to extricate the passenger of a 2007 Dodge Durango that crashed into a tree at about 2 a.m. The passenger's identity was being withheld pending notification of family.
North Adams (Mass.) Ambulance Service also responded to the scene.
The driver was identified as Patrick Belliveau, 24, of Gardner, Mass. Belliveau had fled the scene, according to Vermont State Police, and was located a short time later about 4 miles away from the accident. Upon taken
