MASSDOT MEETING
Pittsfield, 6 p.m.
MassDOT will hold a Capital Investment Program (CIP) public meeting, per information shared with municipalities across the commonwealth, at Berkshire Regional Planning Commission, 1 Fenn St., #201. This is the public’s opportunity to provide comments that will help guide capital investments in transportation between 2020 and 2024. Investments include everything from highway and municipal projects to regional airports, rail and transit, including the MBTA and Regional Transit Authorities, and bicycle and pedestrian initiatives, as well. For those who may not be able to attend the meeting, public comments will be accepted via email until 5 p.m. on June 7.

ASTON MAGNA: MUSIC IN THE AGE OF PETER PAUL RUBENS
Great Barrington, 6 p.m.
Featuring the music of Castello, Caldara, Purcell, Telemann, Richter, Mozart and Haydn, with musicians Daniel Stepner and Julie Leven, violins; Jason Fisher, viola; Jacques Lee Wood, cello. Pre-concert talk 45 minutes before the program. Program followed by "Meet the Artists" wine and cheese reception. Now in in its 47th season, Aston Magna is the nation’s longest-running summer festival of music performed on period instruments. The 2019 season includes the finest artists who are specialists in historical performance.
