Margaret M. Stiffler, 94

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Margaret M. Stiffler, Hungerford Street, Pittsfield, widow of Wilbur L. Stiffler, with whom she shared over 48 years of marriage and who died in 1986, passed away peacefully surrounded by family members at Berkshire Medical Center on February 28, 2017.
She was born in Mellenville, NY, on November 4, 1922, the daughter of George and Emma Proctor Haner.
She is survived by her children, Patricia S. Venti and her husband Paul of Hockessin, Del., Douglas W. Stiffler and his wife Jean of Pittsfield and Wendy M. Joyce and her husband Peter, also of Pittsfield. Margaret truly loved and is survived by her nine grandchildren, Daniel Venti, Beth Venti Gotthold, Brian Venti, Terri Stiffler, Richard Stiffler, Kimberly Stiffler Lukiwsky, Erin Joyce Morse, Holly Joyce Hunter and Melissa Joyce. In addition, Margaret is survived by 19 cherished great-grandchildren.
Margaret was a loved mom and nana.
Margaret is also survived by her three sisters, Agnes Wasuk, Blanche Clausen and Iris Sachs. She was predeceased by her other siblings, Lawrence, Harold, George and Doris and by her infant twin grandchildren, Timothy and Amy Joyce.
Funeral Notice: Services for Margaret M. Stiffler will take place Monday, March 6, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Bencivenga Funeral Home, 5 Elm St., Pittsfield, with the Rev. Monsignor Michael A. Shershanovich, Pastor of St. Joseph's Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. A celebration of life and a memorial service will be held in early summer.
