PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Shobha Rani, 75, of Pittsfield, Mass., died on April 3, 2017, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
She was born in Ambala, Haryana, India, on October 24, 1941, a daughter to the late Bishwer and Ram (Rakhi) Nath. She was a devoted mother and homemaker.
She was the widow of Bishamber Dass Sharma. Survivors include her sons, Vivek “Vic” Sharma of Adams, Mass., Sanjay “Sam” Sharma of Williamstown, Mass., and Vinod Sharma of India; as well as six grandchildren, Shivali, Vyas, Ambika, Dhruv, Krish and Devika Sharma.
Funeral notice: A service to celebrate the life of Shobha Rani will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at the Albany Hindu Temple, 450 Shaker Road, Albany, N.Y. 12211. Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, is entrusted with arrangements.
