Malcolm Waynick scored 18 points to lead Duda Construction to a 29-11 win over Williamstown Family Chiropractic in the Lanesborough/Williamstown Youth Basketball Association fifth and and sixth grade house league this week.
Nick Duda added six, and Matt Sorrell and Michael Faulkner each scored for Duda in the win.
Nick Thayer and Joshua Polumbo had five and four, respectively, for Williamstown Family Chiropractic.
Derek Paris scored six to lead a balanced attack for Gable Electric in its 26-13 win over Volp Logic. Jack Cangelosi, Colin Doyle, Jeremy Guy, Kyle Trottier, Will Davis and Will Broadwell each had two points in the victory.
Sash Rooney scored four for Volp, which got three from Nick Markovic.
Girls
Talia Cappadona scored 14 to lead Donut Man to a 16-11 win over iBerkshires.com, which got seven from Fiona Trimarchi.
DR2 defeated Lanesborough BP in a defensive struggle. Jamie Golin of DR2 was the leading scorer in a 6-4 win.
The league is taking a holiday break and will return to action on Jan. 7, 2015.
