PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The Pittsfield Babe Ruth Baseball 15-year-old All-Stars have a number of fundraisers planned to support their trip to this month's World Series in Lawrenceburg, Tenn.
The first is a "dining to donate" event at Patrick's Pub in downtown Pittsfield on Wednesday, Aug. 5, from 4:30 to 10:30 p.m.
During that time, all dine-in or take-out customers who present a Pittsfield Babe Ruth coupon will have 20 percent of their bill donated to the team. The team cannot hand out coupons at the restaurants. Those interested in supporting the effort must print their coupon in advance; click here for a copy to print out.
The team will hold a bottle and can drive on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at George's Liquor Store on Elm Street and Berkshire Wine and Liquors on Tyler Street.
Finally, the team will hold a car wash on Sunday, Aug. 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Stop & Shop on Merrill Road.
