JENSEN BEACH, Fla. -- The Berkshire Force picked up two wins on Tuesday at the Babe Ruth Softball 16-and-under World Series.

 

First, Isabella Aitken went 3-for-4 in a 10-2 win over Hoquiam.

 

Britney Perkett doubled and scored twice, and Elena Cerverira drove in a pair in the victory.

 

Emily Koldys went the distance in the circle, striking out five and scattering six hits.

 

In Berkshire's second outing of the day, the Force took an 11-4 lead into the bottom of the seventh and held on for an 11-8 win.

 

Giuliana Pierce went 2-for-3 with a double, and Ashley Keegan, Rachel Voller and Perkett each had two hits in the 12-hit effort.

 

Keegan and Koldys split time in the circle to allow a combined four earned runs.
