PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Greylock Federal Credit Union has announced the recipients of donations from its “Spirit of Giving” campaign.
The donations resulted from 14 department/teams within the credit union choosing worthy organizations or causes, to which Greylock donated $1,000 each. Additionally, Greylock gave each of the chosen organizations a $250 gift card from a local grocery store, to “pay forward” to a charity, or worthy cause of their choice.
“The ‘Spirit of Giving’ campaign was conceived, not only as a way for Greylock to give to worthy causes, but also to help others experience the best gift of all – the gift of giving back,” said Greylock’s Victoria May, assistant vice president, Manager Marketing Promotions and Partnerships.
“I have been overwhelmed by the positive remarks and tremendous activity taking place to support this initiative. I appreciate the passion all our employees displayed for the communities we serve,” added Greylock President and CEO John L. Bissell.
The 14 organizations receiving the $1,000 “Spirit of Giving” donations and the $250 gift cards:

* Elder Services of Berkshire County
* Construct
* Pediatric Development Center
* PopCares Inc.
* Kiwanis Club
* Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter
* Berkshire County Arc (BCArc)
* Soldier On
* The Dream Center
* Neighbor-to-Neighbor Fund
* St. John Paul the Great Food Pantry.
