Free poetry workshop for ages 13-19 with New York poet Thomas Fucaloro. Open to all experience levels. If possible, bring poetry-in-progress with you: your writing journal, a poem you recently scrawled out, or an old poem you're not sure if you like. Pre-registration is recommended. The fundraiser will include soup tastings from over 20 local restaurants and culinary programs, along with music, appetizers, desserts, a cash bar, raffles, and more.
Enjoy lobster bisque, maple bacon, potato chowder, chili, chicken orzo, and others. Several meatless soups will be offered, as well as a gluten-free vegetable option.
Proceeds from this benefit will help provide direct donations to soup kitchens and food pantries across the county.
