PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The Pittsfield Parade Committee is raising funds for the 2016 Parade and is seeking community support through contributions and sponsorships.
Those interested in contributing may do so online via PayPal by visiting www.pittsfieldparade.com, or by mailing contributions to Pittsfield Parade Committee Inc., P.O. Box 1738, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
Businesses and organizations interested in supporting the Parade through a sponsorship have a range of options:
* $2,500 or more: Exclusive July 4th Parade and July 3rd Drum Corps Show Sponsorship: includes a sponsorship banner displayed in parade, a small ad in Drum Corp Show Program (at Wahconah Park), as well as a full page ad (7 ¼ x 9 ½ in Parade souvenir booklet).
* $1,500 or more: Exclusive balloon/musical unit sponsorship banner displayed in Parade - includes full page ad (7 ¼ x 9 ½) in Parade souvenir booklet.
* $1,000: Banner displayed in Parade - includes full page ad (7 ¼ x 9 ½) in Parade souvenir booklet.
* $750: Banner displayed in Parade – also includes half page ad (7 ¼ x 4 ¾) in Parade souvenir booklet.
* $500: Full page ad (7 ¼ x 9 ½) in Parade souvenir booklet.
* $300: Half page ad (7 ¼ x 4 ¾) in Parade souvenir booklet.
* $150: Quarter page ad (3 ½ x 4 ¾) in Parade souvenir booklet.
* $100: Eighth page ad (3 ½ x 2 ½) in Parade souvenir booklet.
* $50: Booster page listing in Parade souvenir booklet.
Sponsorship checks (Payable to The Pittsfield Parade Committee, Inc.) and ads must be received by June 1, 2016. Ads on a disk or pdf file, should be emailed to pittsfieldparade@aol.com. Checks should be sent to: Pittsfield Parade Committee, P.O. Box 1738, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
“The 4th of July Parade is much more than a one day event. This year, it begins on July 3rd with the Drum Corp Show at Wahconah Park," Pittsfield Parade Committee President Peter Marchetti said. "The events involve many volunteers working for months to make this such a special and memorable holiday. While everyone is not able to volunteer, we ask the community to help with sponsorships and advertising support to make this the best parade yet.”
The goal of the Parade Committee is to raise $85,000 again this year. Donations are accepted year round. For more information call 413-447‐7763.
