PITTSFIELD, Mass. — As part of the city’s Street Improvement Project, there will be paving work on Francis and Hubbard avenues on Friday, Aug. 5.
On Francis Avenue, paving will begin at 7 a.m. until noon from the West Street intersection (Eversource driveway) to College Drive/Government Drive. Traffic will be detoured; access will only be provided for those that live on the street.
For Hubbard Avenue, work will take place noon to 4 p.m. from East Street to the railroad bridge (south of Downing Parkway). There will be one lane of traffic open for southbound traffic only (northbound will be detoured to Merrill Road).
