Pittsfield High School graduate Amanda Wright assisted on the lone goal in the Springfield College women’s soccer team’s 1-0 win over Amherst last week.
 
Wright, a sophomore forward on the Pride, has appeared in three games this season after getting on the field in all 22 outings as a freshman -- notching her first career goal in a 2-1 win over Endicott College.
 
Tuesday’s win marked the first since 2010 for the Pride against its Pioneer Valley rival. Amherst came into the game undefeated and ranked No. 10 in the country.
 
Springfield (3-1-1) goes to Endicott College on Tuesday.
 
Another former General, Allie Supranowicz, has two assists in six starts for the Union College women’s soccer team. Supranowicz is a junior at the Schenectady, N.Y., school, where the Dutchwomen are 2-3-1 heading into Tuesday’s Liberty League matchup with Skidmore College.
 
Bates women’s soccer player and Mount Greylock alumna Alexa Adams is in her senior year with the Bobcats, who are off to a 2-3 start going into Monday’s game at the University of New England. Bates his home next Sunday against Williams College.
 
Wahconah graduate and Westfield State University freshman Jocelyn Hill scored her first collegiate goal earlier this season in the Owls’ 4-1 win over Roger Williams. Hill has appeared in all five games for 3-2 Westfield State, which hosts Simmons College on Wednesday.
 
Simmons College junior Alyssa Marceau, a graduate of Drury High School, is a starter in the back for the Sharks, who are 1-4-1 going into Wednesday’s game at Westfield State.
 
At Daniel Webster College in Nashua, N.H., senior and St. Joseph Central School alumna Madeline Roulier leads the volleyball team in digs (117) and is second in kills (86) and hitting percentage (.185) through 10 matches. The Eagles are 6-4 going into Tuesday’s match against Clark.
 
At this weekend’s UMass-Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational, Laura Galib and the Wheaton College women placed 11th. Galib, a 2015 Mount Greylock graduate from Pittsfield, placed eighth earlier this fall at the season-opening Wheaton Invitational.
 
Mount Greylock graduate Stephanie Adamczyk is running again this fall for Husson College in Maine. This month at the Fens Cross Country Opener in Boston, she helped her team to a third-place finish in a five-team meet hosted by Brandeis.
 
Fitchburg State University junior and Taconic High graduate Michael Ferris competed for the Falcons on Saturday at UMass Dartmouth, where Fitchburg finished 13th in a 33-team field.
 
Wahconah graduate and University of Massachusetts sophomore Kevin Boino has one shot on goal in four appearances for the Minutemen (1-5-1), who earned their first win on Saturday, a 2-0 victory over Brown in Amherst. UMass goes on the road Wednesday to face the University of Vermont.
 
At Albany, N.Y.’s, College of St. Rose, sophomore and McCann Tech grad Shane Fuller has one appearance this fall for the men’s soccer team, which is 2-3 going into Wednesday’s game at Le Moyne.
