SDA played out yet another entertaining encounter Through the first half, SDA competed well playing very attractive attacking soccer. The defense also looked more organized and disciplined. The first half finished goalless.

In the second half, Best FC started to control the game possessing the ball well and controlling the pace of the game. A four-minute spell midway through the second half killed the contest with three back-to-back goals, punishing SDA’s errors. The visitors continued to battle to the final whistle aiming to create goal scoring opportunities but were unable to fully take the chances when in possession.

Although the 3-0 loss can be seen as a frustrating result for SDA, it also shows they can compete at this standard with their style of play.

After a very strong start to the season both teams went into this game unbeaten, each on six points. The hosts won their first two games 7-2 and 8-1, however in the early stages it was clear to see this was going to be more of a challenge.

The game started very evenly, with neither side being gifted a lot of time on the ball. Chances were a very irregular occurrence, both teams stayed very organized and remained hard to break down. As the half progressed, more chances were created with SDA using the width of the field well and getting balls into the box, unfortunately the approaching players didn't seem to be getting on the end of many.

Around halfway through the first half, the visitors got their breakthrough. This looked to be an assessment of the hosts’ character as it trailed for the first time this season, and it went into half-time down, 1-0

The second half once again started a very competitive and physical affair with neither team were allowed much time in possession. Just over five minutes in, Abbey Villa pushed on and looked like getting a second, resilient SDA defending kept them out. SDA once again used the width of the field very well but continued to struggle to get on the end of crosses coming into the box.

As the half progressed, SDA began getting more joy in this department and got an equalizing goal from a ball delivered into the box only to be finished by the opposite winger. SDA continued to be patient but was reluctant to settle for a tie. The hosts continued to push on and got their reward through a great run from the winger coming inside and finishing well. SDA stayed organized and disciplined for the remainder of the game keeping the visitors out even when under pressure, winning game, 2-1.

The first half was fairly even as SDA came up against a team that played very direct very quickly, this was a occasionally a challenge for the home side to deal with, however the defense stay organized, solid and very hard to break down. SDA started with good intensity, were first to the contest and attacked the ball very well for the most part. The work rate, commitment and seemingly desire was at a very good level and the side looked determined to get three points.

The home side played an attractive style of soccer, using the goal keep to play out from the back and through the thirds. Both teams found a breakthrough in the first half, the half-time whistle went with the score 1-1.

In the second half, SDA dictated play in the middle and controlled possession. As the game progressed SDA found themselves defending in their own half for long periods of time but resolute defending and sheer determination denied the visitors breaking them down. The hosts went on to score a goal of their own and claim all three points with a 2-1 win.

U11 Boys
In the first half, SDA started quickly and went 3-0. After that the home side seemed to get complacent and overconfident, losing shape and structure, this was punished as the home side conceded 2 and went into half-time with the score at 3-2.

In the second half, SDA moved the ball with more purpose, combined well in wide areas and created numerous chances from well-coordinated play. SDA communicated well with each other throughout the game and the quality showed with an uncontested second half, SDA gained three points and a very convincing and commanding 12-2 victory.

The visitors looked good in the early stages possessing the ball well, they looked totally in control of the game, SDA had numerous chances to take the lead but failed to take them and found themselves 1-0 down not long later.

After dominating initially, the goal changed the motion of the game, with it becoming a very scrappy affair with both teams looking to go forward at every opportunity. The game continued to go back and forth and both teams conceded numerous times through poor decisions and lack of communication. The hosts went into half-time with a 4-3 lead.

U13 Boys
The home team started strongly, possessing the ball well and dictating the pace of the game. The visitors struggling to get a hold of the ball in the opening 10 minutes felt it was going to be a long day and a very hard task. SDA found its breakthrough midway into the first half through a well-taken goal.

Best FC began to grow into the game, creating chances of their own. The majority of the time SDA were organized well, but lapses of concentration allowed the visitors to break them down only for the hosts goalkeeper to make some fine saves. SDA looked certain to have scored a second if it wasn't for a very questionable offside call. The half-time whistle went with SDA still clearly on top and creating more chances than their opponents.

The second half kicked of and the visitors seemed to possess the ball well in the early stages, SDA with only one substitute needed to change this. The hosts grew into the half fairly quickly and started to penetrate the Best FC defense again, SDA created many chances but just struggled to find the back of the net. One chance was saved on the line by the visitor’s goalkeeper and another hitting the post. With 15 minutes to go SDA managed to get a second to seemingly kill the contest.

The game from there on became really scrappy with both teams struggling to get a hold of the ball and also looking very disorganized. Both teams with limited substitutes (SDA -1) and (Best FC -3) looked very tired and it was showing in the quality of the remainder of the game. Both teams had chances in the last 10 minutes but none were taken. A good day for the home team, getting its first three points of the season with a 2-0 win.

U14 Boys
The game got off to a great start, with SDA controlling and dominating a lot of the possession, they moved the ball well and started to create chances in the early stages. The hosts used their physical attributes well and didn’t really have a challenge when attacking. The home side played some good soccer, not always executing the final ball but still looked threatening.

Best FC fell behind fairly early on and SDA managed to extend the lead to a commanding 4-0 by half time.

The second half began with what seemed to be a certain second victory of the season for the home team. In the second half, SDA seemed to try to push the ball forward quicker and in a more direct fashion. This didn’t work as their attacks broke down a lot quicker and Best FC were able to contain them. The visitors managed to get one back in the second half but a very dominant SDA performance lead to a convincing 4-1 win.
