FRI First Friday Artswalk in Downtown Pittsfield

Enjoy over 15 different art shows featuring work by more than three dozen accomplished regional artists in Pittsfield's bustling Upstreet Cultural District during the First Fridays Artswalk and all month long!

The Berkshire Art Association's (BAA) biennial juried show Othering opens at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts.  Othering is defined as perceiving or portraying something as fundamentally different.  More than 30 artists from throughout the Northeast were juried into the show, each with a different perspective on othering.
The show runs through Saturday, November 26.

In most First Fridays Artswalk venues, artists will be present from 5 - 8 p.m. A free guided tour begins at 5 p.m. at the Intermodal Center @ BRTA, 1 Columbus Ave.

The fun doesn't stop at 8! An Afterwalk Party will be held from 8 - 10 p.m. at the Whitney Center for the Arts, 42 Wendell Ave. Free and open to the public!

FILM
Here, There & Everywhere
at The Colonial Theatre

It's been 67 years since ski-film pioneer Warren Miller first picked up a camera to capture the wonder, adventure, humor, and beauty that is skiing. Since that time, Warren Miller film crews have traveled the globe - from storied slopes to hidden corners - to celebrate all things snowsports. Witness a freeform, freeski adventure in their 67th film, Here, There & Everywhere. See JT Holmes, Jeremy Jones, Grette Eliassen, Collin Collins, Ingrid Backstrom, Tyler Ceccanti, and others as they sweep across the expanses of Alaska, Montana's Glacier Country, Deer Valley, Greenland, Switzerland and other locales.

Thursday, Nov. 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Colonial Theatre.
