FRI Festival of Trees Opens at Berkshire Museum
|
Lights! Camera! Action! Get a first look at the sparkling trees at Berkshire Museum's Festival of Trees Preview Party. Walk the red carpet, sip and dine, and mingle with the "Who's Who" of Berkshire County at this family-friendly, movie-themed extravaganza. 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The Office of Cultural Development announces a call to artists for a Holiday Wreath Art Auction on Dec. 2 at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts. The wreaths will be on display in conjunction with First Fridays Artswalk during a ticketed event with a preview from 5-6:30 p.m. The live auction begins at 6:30 p.m. and all proceeds will benefit Pittsfield Food Pantries.
ONLY A FEW WREATHS LEFT! Register by emailing your name and phone number to cultural@pittsfieldch.com by Friday, Nov. 18. There is a $10 entry fee. The Office of Cultural Development will supply the wreath to decorate.
Wreath pick-up will be Friday and Saturday, Nov. 25 and 26 from 9-11 a.m. at the Lichtenstein. Finished wreaths must be returned by Thursday, Dec. 1 at 12 Noon.

Almost Queen is the most authentic live tribute show since the days of Queen themselves. This four-piece band delivers a performance showcasing signature four part harmonies and intricate musical interludes. Donning genuine costumes, Almost Queen recaptures the live energy and precision that is the Queen experience. Berkshire Theatre Group's Colonial Theatre at 8 p.m.

Kids ages 6 through 12 are invited to paint "Rainbow Tree" at Berkshire Paint & Sip. Adults are welcome, too! A professional art instructor will guide you as you create this work or any other painting you've been wanting to try. No reservations needed; walk-ins welcome. 10 a.m to 12 p.m. $15 with your own materials; or use theirs for an additional $10.

Radiance Yoga will hold itsannual pre-feast celebration, fundraiser and special in-studio sale beginning at 9 a.m.
All proceeds from this All Levels, Pay-What-You-Like community class benefit the Downtown Pittsfield Farmers Market. Plus, there will be special in-studio ThanksLiving-only deals on class passes and more!

Shire City Sanctuary invites everyone to learn how to create garlands and wreaths out of recycled fabrics, helping to spark creative repurposing during the holiday season. All decorations made will be used to deck the Sanctuary for the upcoming 10th Annual Holiday Shindy. This event is FREE. All ages are welcome! Attendees are encouraged to bring brightly colored fabrics to work with - these can be anything from used clothing to old dishcloths. The older and "tackier" the better! Hot spiced apple cider and cider doughnuts will be served. 1-4 p.m.

Internationally recognized travel expert, radio show host, and author Stephanie Abrams will be at Barnes & Noble on Hubbard Avenue from 2 to 4 p.m. at a Meet the Author event. Stephanie will discuss her novel, RUMORS, sign copies of the book, and answer questions including those pertaining to travel for those who attend.
