Go green at Bousquet's 20th Annual Irish Olympics Slush Run on Saturday from 10 a.m. until late. The Slush Run begins at 2 p.m., but there's so much more all day long, including a Cookie Race and a Cardboard Box Race for kids; Obstacle Course Races for kids and adults, a concert with Lady Di & The Dukes, skiing until 8 p.m., and a Torch Light Parade followed by a fireworks spectacular to wrap up the fun. 

The band Critical Mass kicks things off the night before, on Friday, March 17 (St. Patrick's Day!) at 8 p.m. See the website for a full schedule!
 
MUSIC & NIGHTLIFE
Celebrate a Friday St. Patty's Day with an epic pub crawl around North Street. There will be some snazzy score cards and a very special prize for the 2017 winner!

Proceeds & donations will be going towards a 'Random Acts of Kindness' Fund.

Cost: $5 (cash) charge for each scorecard

The Berkshire Athenaeum announces new services targeted to families with children on the autism spectrum. Sensory Story Time is customized to the children's needs, and includes prompts to provide a tangible way for children to follow a story line and a structure that helps with transition from one activity to the next. 
 
The Children's Library has a new collection of sensory tools, including fidget toys and related items, for play in the library. Fidget toys, shaped as small frogs, balls or other simple configurations, can be calming and promote focus, decrease stress and increase tactile awareness. Soft and cuddly weighted plush snakes are filled with 4 pounds of beads and can be hung on a child's shoulders or coiled in their lap, providing calming pressure.

Five things to remember about the new downtown parking system:
 
1. Always enter your license plate number - even for the FREE first 30 minutes.
 
2. On-street parking is $1 per hour; lot parking is 50 cents per hour. There are also nearly 400 free parking spaces on the city's side streets.
 
3. You can pay by coin, credit card, or by downloading the Passport parking app.
 
4. You do not need to display the parking receipt on your dashboard.
 
5. Parking is FREE on evenings and weekends!

The Berkshire Art Association (BAA) College Fellowship Show features the work of Berkshire County residents enrolled as art majors at any college in the country, as well as non-residents currently majoring in art at a Berkshire County college. Prizes will be awarded to students whose work is selected. The mission of the BAA is to connect artists and the community in order to inspire creativity and increase access to the visual arts.
