Enjoy a dozen different art shows featuring work by more than 20 accomplished regional artists in Pittsfield's bustling Upstreet Cultural District during the First Fridays Artswalk and all month long! In most venues, artists will be present from 5-8 p.m. A free guided tour begins at 5 p.m. at the Intermodal Center @ BRTA, 1 Columbus Ave.
Face Them opens at the Lichtenstein. The exhibit was curated by Barbara Arpante and features photographers John Stanmeyer and Craig Walker.
For one night only, during the June 2 Artswalk, Soldier On's Veterans Community Arts Initiative will host an art show displayed at Soldier On: Veterans & Families Transportation Call Center within the Intermodal Center at 1 Columbus Ave.

Berkshire Theatre Group and Only in My Dreams Events present the 2nd annual Berkshire Dance Party & Cabaret, a fundraiser for BTG.Celebrate LGBTQ Pride Month by walking the pink carpet, singing along in the piano bar and dancing to the music of DJ BFG. Plus: pianist Robert Kelley, drag personalities, Heart Shaped Box dancers and much more! 7 p.m. Tickets: $35/$75.

Berkshire Yoga, Dance & Fitness will offer a free adult hip hop dance class with Natalia Whalen from 7:45-8:45 p.m. You'll learn choreography, and dance styles such as voguing, old school popping and locking, and club styles. For ages 16 and up; all abilities welcome; no experience needed.

Barrington Stage Company presents The Creative Place International/And Theatre Company production starring BSC veteran Jeff McCarthy as the self-described "radical lawyer" and civil rights activist William Kunstler. The colorful, perpetually rumpled defense lawyer whose best-known clients include the Chicago Seven, inmates involved in the Attica prison riots and members of the American Indian Movement, makes a case for his often unconventional style in this wise and revealing play on the St. Germain Stage.

Yummy Treasures, located at 10 Commercial Street, will host two jewelry making classes on Saturday. From 10:30-11:30 a.m., learn how to make chain mail earrings. Then, from 1-3:30 p.m., craft your own summer bracelet with silky beads.

Pulitzer Prize-winning author Geraldine Brooks will be the featured speaker at Temple Anshe Amunim's Spring Into Summer Brunch. She'll read from her acclaimed book, The Secret Chord, a novel about the life of the Biblical King David. Brooks is the author of the international bestsellers "Caleb's Crossing," "People of the Book," "Year of Wonders" and others. 10 a.m. $36.

The 12th Annual Berkshire International Film Festival (BIFF)
at The Beacon Cinema
In Pittsfield, the festival opens on Friday, June 2 with a reception and a screening of The Trip to Spain, starring Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon. This year's BIFF, which runs through Sunday, June 4, includes full-length films, as well as a screening of shorts and a Kid Flix Mix.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE PARKING METER PLAN

2. On-street parking is $1 per hour; lot parking is 50 cents per hour. There are also nearly 400 free parking spaces on the city's side streets.
3. You can pay by coin, credit card, or by downloading the Passport parking app.
4. You do not need to display the parking receipt on your dashboard.
5. Parking is FREE on evenings and weekends!
