BOSTON -- Mount Greylock's Cole Wojtkowski hit a two-run single Tuesday to help lead the West team to a 4-2 win over Coastal at the Bay State Games.
Pittsfield's Ian Benoit pitched in the win for West, as it improved to 2-0 in the tournament.
On Wednesday, West dropped a 6-5 decision to Northeast despite a late rally that saw Wojtkowski score on a wild pitch.
Elsewhere at the Games, Taconic's Zabion Powell went 1-2 in the 145-pound class of the scholastic wrestling competition.
Powell lost his first match in the championship bracket in an 11-6 decision but rallied to earn a pin midway through the third period of his first match in the consolation bracket. He then was edged, 5-4, by New Hampshire's Ben Wildmann in the consolation quarter-finals.
