WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Meghan Halloran scored with less than five minutes left to play to give the Williams College women's hockey team a 1-1 tie with Connecticut College on Saturday at Lansing Chapman Rink.

 

Christina Cleroux stopped 21 shots for the Ephs (9-4-4, 3-3-4 NESCAC), who go to Saint Anselm on Tuesday.

 

Men's Hockey

WATERVILLE, Maine -- Colby jumped out to a 3-0 lead after one period and held on for a 4-2 win over Williams.

 

Nick VanBelle and Joe Welch each scored for the Ephs (10-7, 6-5), who host Tufts on Friday.

 

Men's Basketball

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. -- Hilal Dahleh and Joey Leighton each scored 16 points to lead Middlebury to a 70-66 win over Williams.

 

James Heskett scored a game-high 19 points, and Matthew Karpowicz grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Ephs (13-4, 3-2), who have a non-league date against St. Joseph's on Monday.

 

Women's Basketball

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Maya Davis scored 12 points to lead three Middlebury Panthers in double figures as Middlebury beat Williams, 57-54.

 

Kristen Fechtelkotter scored 16, and Maggie Meehan had 12 points and four assists for the Ephs (10-8, 2-3), who host Trinity on Friday.
