PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Miss Hall’s School announced that varsity basketball players Shae Daley and Julianne Liebow have been named New England Preparatory School Athletic Council Class C All-Stars for the recently completed winter season.
Daley, a senior and the daughter of Heidi and Rocky Daley, of Pittsfield, is a three-year varsity player who joined the starting lineup this year and was a team captain for the Hurricanes. She averaged 10.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game while playing as a guard and forward.
Liebow, a junior and the daughter of Kimberly and David Liebow, of Townsend, Vt., joined Miss Hall’s this year from Vermont and was a valuable starter for the Hurricanes. She averaged 10.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, splitting time between the point guard and shooting guard positions.
“Shae played a huge role in our success this year,” varsity basketball coach and athletic director Brad Horth said. “She was a real jack-of-all-trades player who filled a stat sheet in just about every game she played. She is not afraid to get inside and mix it up with the bigger players, but she also has the ability to stretch out and knock down a three-pointer. We will miss Shae’s physical toughness and leadership next year.”
Daley and Liebow played in the league all-star game held March 4 at Noble and Greenbough School, in Dedham, Mass.
