Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz and their team are returning to Massachusetts! They plan to film episodes of the hit History Channel show American Pickers throughout the Northeast. The documentary series explores the fascinating world of antique "picking" and they're always excited to find sizable, unique collections and learn the stories behind them. The pair hopes to give historically significant objects a new lease on life, while learning a thing or two about America's past along the way, and they'd love to explore your hidden treasure. If you or someone you know has a large, private collection or accumulation of antiques that the Pickers can spend the better part of the day looking through, send them your name, phone number, location and description of the collection, with photos, to americanpickers@cineflix.com or call 1-800-OLD-RUST.

How cool is this? When events are scheduled in Pittsfield's Park Square, City Hall or Dunham Mall, the City will close off these areas to traffic. Colorful, energy-efficient LED lighting will illuminate these areas. Examples of events include dance and music performances, yoga, craft shows, public school events, food tastings and more. The Lightscapes project has secured a dollar-for-dollar funding match of up to $50,000 from MassDevelopment if its crowdfunding goal is reached by Wednesday, May 16. Please consider funding these beautiful and exciting permanent lighting projects.
