Berkshire Bank VP Named One of the Top 40 Under Forty by BusinessWest

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Jason Niles, vice president/relationship manager at Berkshire Bank, has been selected for one of BusinessWest's class of 2018, 40 Under Forty awards. Winners were chosen based on level of accomplishment, leadership, and contribution to the community.
 
The 40 Under Forty event is an annual celebration to honor 40 young business and civic leaders in Western Massachusetts, demonstrating excellence in their profession and a commitment to giving back to the community in which they work and live. Nominations for this award are assigned to panel of judges who will score each individual on a number of factors from success in their career field to community involvement.

Niles will be recognized for this award, along with the other 2018 40 Under Forty recipients, at the annual gala held in Holyoke on Thursday, June 21.
 
Niles began his career at Berkshire Bank nine years ago, starting as a teller supervisor in the South Hadley branch. He has since become the vice president/relationship manager for Berkshire Bank in the Pioneer Valley region, overseeing full relationships and drawing upon expertise of a team to provide priority service. He graduated from the University of Phoenix.

Niles has not only committed his time and talents to the banking industry, but is an active member in the Pioneer Valley community. He is a Revitalize Community Development Corporation board member, helping to modify and rebuild the homes of low income families in the Holyoke and Springfield area as well as a Valley Venture Mentor, supporting and providing guidance to local startups.
