Rain or shine, the Pittsfield 4th of July Parade will kick off at 10 a.m. sharp from the intersection of South and East/West Housatonic StreetsSee the parade website for more information, including parade route and parking bans and suggestions.
 
MUSIC & NIGHTLIFE

Shire City Sessions continues its FREE concert series at Hotel on North with singer-songwriter Joelle Lurie. She is a 2016-2017 Lincoln Center Kids Resident Artist, as well as an NPR featured artist, a jazz vocalist, and a voiceover artist and educator. 5-6:30 p.m. Arrive early for best seating.

PERFORMANCE
This musical comedy is a masterful love letter to the Great White Way. Based on Peter Turner's memoir, the film follows the playful but passionate relationship between Turner (Jamie Bell) and the eccentric Academy Award-winning actress Gloria Grahame (Annette Bening) in 1978 Liverpool. What's Showing at The Licht
Pittsfield's city-owned community arts center, the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts, features nine working artist studios, a ceramics studio, a community room and an art gallery with changing exhibitions, classes, performances and more!

The Lichtenstein Center for the Arts is currently hosting BCC's Berkshire Immigrant Stories exhibit. BIS is a grant-funded program at Berkshire Community College that collects and shares stories of immigrants in the Berkshires through a website hosted by the Tenement Museum in Manhattan.
