What happens when two bored, centuries-old vampires end up stuck in a cheap hotel for the night? The Whitney Center for the Arts presents Moral Dilemmas of the Modern-Day Vampire, a new play written by and starring Elizabeth Cardaropoli and Johnny Segalla. These two vampires must face the challenges of the 21st century while contemplating their own ethics and the inevitable eternity ahead. 8 p.m. $10.

FRI-MON Farmer of the Year at Little Cinema

When Hap Anderson, a widowed 83-year-old Minnesota farmer who thinks he's still quite the ladies' man, sells his family farm, he finds himself adrift and staring a short future in the face. Driven by the possibility of showing up with an old flame and impressing his old Army buddies, he sets out in a dilapidated Winnebago to attend his 65th WWII reunion in California with his directionless and unreasonably self-confident granddaughter, Ashley. Along the way they begin to understand and appreciate each other as individuals.

What's Showing at The Licht

Pittsfield's city-owned community arts center, the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts, features nine working artist studios, a ceramics studio, a community room and an art gallery with changing exhibitions, classes, performances and more!

On Friday, December 7, The Lichtenstein Center for the Arts will hold its 4th Annual Wreath Art Auction! You'll be able to purchase handmade holiday wreaths, kissing balls and centerpieces made by local artists. The wreaths will be on display in conjunction with December's First Friday Artswalk during a $10 ticketed event with a preview from 5-6:30 p.m. A live auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. Grab-and-go items also will be available for purchase. Music will be provided by Kaz Smith. All proceeds benefit the Pittsfield Food Pantry at the South Congregational Church.
