PERFORMANCE
Town Players of Pittsfield presents Gay Monteverde's smart, sexy romantic comedy for people over 60. Based loosely (and lovingly) on Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, the play is set in a small, hip bookstore where Liz, the 65-year-old proprietor (and former activist), hosts a weekly book group for women. While her adult son designs websites and his annoying wife hosts a weekly food blog, Liz and her colorful friends meet to discuss life and literature. This East Coast premiere is directed by the author's son, John Monteverde. BCC's Boland Theatre.
