TUE Cinema of Law: Peyote Road at Berkshire Athenaeum
The Cinema of Law returns to the library for a new season, and continues with The Peyote Road (1996). The film screening will be introduced by attorney Eva Schatz, Berkshire Center for Justice. The movie chronicles the struggle by Native Americans to legalize their use of the psychoactive cactus peyote in their traditional religious rituals.
