Great Barrington, Dalton-Hinsdale Win in 10/12 Tournament

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Great Barrington's Matthew Lowe threw a complete game Sunday to lead his team to a 9-2 win over the Pittsfield National Little League in the 10- to 12-year-old Donald Gleason District 1 tournament at Clapp Park.
 
Dalton-Hinsdale earned a 7-3 win over Adams-Cheshire in Sunday's other game in the Williamsport tournament.
 
Great Barrington's Lowe had two hits, including a double, to help his own cause. Jack  Bissallon had three hits, and Christian Blanchard had a pair of singles in the win.
 
For the Pittsfield NL, Kyle McGrath had a pair of hits. Jude Barzousky doubled, and Gavin O'Donnell had a single.
 
Dalton-Hinsdale got a double from Jackson Strout and a pair of hits from Tim Kaley. Adam Hagmaier and James Rabuse each had a hit, and Connor Vidal went the distance on the mound for the win.
 
Jack Dolan and Will Hakes each had a pair of hits for Adams, which got a single apiece from Chris Szabo and Adam Hicks.
 
On Monday at Clapp Park, Great Barrington will face the Pittsfield American League, and at Belanger, the Pittsfield NL will continue its game against Dalton-Hinsdale that was suspended on Saturday due to rain.
