JENSEN BEACH, Fla. -- The Berkshire Force 10-and-under softball team Monday earned its first win in the Babe Ruth World Series.

 

The Force beat Sikeston, Mo., 11-0, to improve to 1-1 in pool play.

 

The Force 10U squad finishes pool play on Tuesday against Summit Point, W.Va., before the tournament shifts to bracket play.

 

In the 12U division, the Berkshire Force squad Tuesday rallied to a 6-5 win over Kingston, N.Y., to improve to 2-1 in pool play.

 

The Force 12s started their World Series run on Sunday with a 10-5 win over Litchfield, N.H.

 

The 12U squad started play Monday with a 4-1 loss to Clermont, Fla., before rallying in the evening to finish the day with a one-run lead against the Hudson Valley squad.

 

On Tuesday, the Force 12s wrap up pool play against Jefferson Parish, La.
