The Berkshire Force 12-and-under travel softball team opened the fall ball season on Sunday by beating the Saratoga Thunder, 10-7, and Guilderland, 20-1.
Against Saratoga, Mia DeJesus threw four solid innings in the circle, and Cheyann Goddard turned a double play at short with the bases loaded to end the fourth inning.
Audrianna Pelkey and Hailey Armold each doubled to lead the offense.
Against Guilderland, Armold and Goddard each went 3-for-3 with an RBI. DeJesus and Paxton Ebling each was 3-for-3, and Pelkey doubled in a run.
Gionnah Levardi earned the win in the circle, striking out two and recording five assists.
The Force U12 team includes Paxton Ebling, Cheyann Goddard, Mia DeJesus, Audrianna Pelkey, Audrina Maloney, Hailey Armold, Nevaeh Lopez, Gionnah Levardi, Grace Julieano, Ja'Leah Rosa, Bri Lynch and Ella Stodden.
