PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Like every other arts organization across the country, First Fridays Artswalk has had to cancel events and think of creative ways to safely continue bringing art to our community. It was out of this need that the "Quarantine Artist Profile" was born.
Berkshire County artists are invited to submit images of works (or works in progress) they have created during this unprecedented time of social distance and isolation. These images will be posted to First Fridays Artswalk's social media pages for the community to enjoy. Links to the artists' websites or online stores are included in hopes that those who are able to can support our local artists during this time.
Follow First Fridays Artswalk on Facebook and Instagram to view the Quarantine Artist Profiles. They are also viewable on the website.
Artists who would like to be featured in a Quarantine Artist Profile can visit the website www.firstfridaysartswalk.com for more information.
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Pittsfield Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. This program would not be possible without the support of First Fridays Artswalk’s fiscal agent (the Downtown Pittsfield Cultural Association) and First Fridays Artswalk sponsors, which include the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, Berkshire Money Management, Mary’s Carrot Cake and Berkshire Medical Center.
