 GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — CHP Berkshires has expanded its clinical team with the addition of three new providers in Pittsfield, Lee and the CHP Mobile Health team. Marina Hoag, family nurse practitioner, has joined the primary care team at CHP Neighborhood Health Center in Pittsfield. Previously a registered nurse at CHP North Adams Family Medical, she recently completed her doctorate of nursing at Elms College. She earned her B.S. in nursing at the University of Phoenix and received her associate degree in nursing at Berkshire Community College. NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The public is invited to "Blueprint: Building the Foundation for Recovery," a new documentary featuring real stories of recovery in the Berkshires. As the season for flu and COVID-19 is underway, there is still time for residents to get vaccinated. Vaccinations help prevent illness or reduce serious illness and the risk of hospitalization.  PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The owners of Thistle and Mirth are fundraising to rebrand to the bar's "nerdy and artsy roots" with the addition of pizza.
An Indiegogo has been launched to raise funds for the revision, rebranding, and reopening of the establishment after a stabbing on Thanksgiving Eve closed its doors. The plan is to reduce the footprint to the "old Mirth," install a pizza oven, emphasize games and artsy community events, focus on well-curated craft beer, and have earlier hours.
"After 13 years, we don't want to give up so easily," owners Joad Bowman and Austin Oliver wrote on social media.

DALTON, Mass. — The Cable Advisory Commission held its first meeting since 2019 on Monday night. The commission was re-established to negotiate a new contract with Charter Communications. There are four voting members on the commission, three of whom are also on the Dalton Community Cable Association's board. The commission is weighing its options for obtaining legal counsel, the needs to be negotiated, and need for volunteers.  PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Haddad Subaru has boosted the Pittsfield Fire Department's BFit Challenge fundraiser by $5,000 to support occupational cancer.
Though the monies cannot carry the first responders up the stairs of TD Garden during the strenuous event, it has allowed the department to surpass last year's fundraising goal over a month in advance. The auto dealer is this year's main sponsor, also selling team merchandise to raise proceeds for the cause.
"We were thrilled with that and jumped on board this year," Lt. Robert Leary said. "This is certainly huge."

DALTON, Mass. — The Traffic Commission is concerned that Craneville Elementary School's pickup times are causing safety issues on Park Avenue. The congestion on the road is only prevalent in the afternoon when parents are parking on the street when picking their children up.
