MassRMV Announces 2024 Low Number Plate Lottery 12:05PM / Sunday, July 14, 2024 | |
BOSTON — The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) is announcing applications for the 2024 Low Number Plate Lottery will be available online at myRMV Online Service Center beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, June 17, 2024. To be eligible, applicants must apply for this year's lottery by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024. Winners will be notified by mail if selected for a low number plate. This year, there are 298 plates available through the low plate lottery. Some of the available low plates include 34, 255, 1912, 2X, 33V, B8, and Z88. The short film follows Tom Levardi, who has been a supporter of the hiking community over the last 45 years by allowing Appalachian Trail hikers to camp in his back yard. PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The Conservation Commission has greenlighted vast improvements to Pontoosuc Lake Park. On Thursday, the commission issued 36 conditions for the city project that include a new boardwalk, access stairs, paring improvements, seasonal docks, and a new swimming beach on the park's two properties at 1447 North St. and 40 Hancock Rd. Work will be within the 100-foot wetland buffer, bordering vegetated wetlands, bank, and land under waterbodies, requiring ConCom approval. "This is a big project, as you can tell," Conservation Agent Robert Van Der Kar said. After decades of planning, the city plans to break ground on phase 1 this year. A $500,000
