NORTH ADAMS Mass - iBerkshires.com defeats Consgli in the North Adams Babe Ruth championship on Thursday night 9-5.
iBerkshires.com got on the board first with three runs in the bottom of the first inning. Jessie DiLego had a big two run single to get things started. After a quiet second inning Consigli tied it with three runs in the top of the third. Brandon Condon singled and later in the inning Rob Buffis singled, knocking in thier first run. Adam Dufour followed with a two run single to tie the game at three.
iBerkshires.com went ahead in the fourth when Girard and Garvey singled and Colin Racette reached on an error. Allan Hirsch then came up with a big hit to make the score 6-3. Consigli fought back with two runs in the fifth but it would be as close as they would get .iBerkshires.com would add three runs to make the final score 9-5.
Hirsch had three hits for iBerkshires.com, Collins and DiLego each had two hits. For Consigli, Adam Dufour and Joe Liporace each had two hits.
