ADAMS, Mass. — Adams Community Bank announced the promotion of four of its employees on Monday. — Elena Tucker to human resource and payroll officer; Emma Tower to retail loan officer; Bonnie Callanan to deposit operations supervisor; and Rebecca Crouse to bank secrecy analyst.

As a human resource and payroll Officer, Tucker will be responsible for all of the human resource and payroll functions. Tucker joined the bank in 2012 as a human resource manager. She is a graduate of Bentley College with a bachelor of science degree in computer information systems. She is a Board of Governance committee member at the Pittsfield Family YMCA and the vice president of Miss Hall's School Alumnae Council. She resides in Pittsfield with her husband.
As Retail Loan Officer, Tower will be responsible for assisting loan customers to meet their individual needs. She has been a member of the team since 2006 where she began her career as a teller. She has a bachelor's in government and international relations from Clark University. Tower actively supports and participates in the Northern Berkshire Relay for Life as well as many bank sponsored regional events. She resides in North Adams with her husband and three children.

Callanan began her career in 2004 as an operator and safe deposit box clerk. She quickly moved into the deposit operations department where she was promoted to electronic banking specialist in 2009. In her new role, Callanan will oversee all daily operations involving quality review, electronic banking, fraud and many more Deposit Operation functions. She resides in Bennington, Vt., with her husband.
"We are very pleased that Bonnie, with nearly 10 years of experience, will be leading our deposit operations department," said O'Brien.
Crouse began her career in 2002 as a teller and progressed to Head Teller and Customer Service Representative. In 2009, Crouse moved into the BSA assistant position. In her analyst role, she will have full responsibility of operations of the bank secrecy area, including the monitoring of moderate and high-risk accounts, suspicious activity, filing of CTRs and SARs, training of employees and for keeping current with regulatory changes. She resides in Lanesborough with her husband and two children.
