PITTSFIELD, Mass. - Michael Joseph Fox, 65, of Pittsfield died Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Hillcrest Commons.
He was born in North Adams on Jan. 10, 1951, son of John H. Fox Sr. and Ruth A. Sharron Fox. He attended North Adams schools and graduated from the former St. Joseph's High School. He graduated from Berkshire Community College and Salem State College.
Mr. Fox was last employed in the information technology department at Berkshire Bank until his retirement.
He married his wife Deborah L. Wolner Fox, who died on Nov. 19, 2015, in 1999.
Survivors include two sisters, Patricia Fox of Tulsa, Okla., and Susan M. Andrews of Bennington, Vt.; two brothers, John H. Fox Jr. of Agawam and Daniel Fox of Homosassa, Fla.; and nieces and nephews. His brother, David Fox, is deceased.
Funeral notice: The funeral for Michael Fox will be Saturday April 2, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals' Central Chapel at 74 Marshall St. in North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview cemetery.
A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. before the funeral on April 2. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
