Theresa A. Belli, 81

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Theresa Anna Belli, 81, of California Avenue, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, died Friday morning, March 18, 2016, at the Mt. Greylock Extended Care Facility surrounded by her loving family. 



Born in Richmond, Vt., she was the daughter of the late Alfred O. Roy and Margaret Murray. She was educated in local schools and attended the local high school. 



Mrs. Belli was employed by Eaton Paper Company as a machine operator and after retirement in her later years worked in housekeeping. She was a communicant of the former Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. 



She enjoyed tag sales, playing bingo with her sister Catherine, and spending time with her family. She also loved animals, especially her cats, Molly and McGhee. 



She is survived by her husband, Americo G. Belli of Pittsfield, whom she married Oct. 1, 1960, in the former Notre Dame Church; her daughter Marianna Labrie and her husband Russell of Waldorf, Md.; her sons, Marco J. Belli and his partner Ann of Sheffield, Mitchell A. Belli and his wife Pamela of Pittsfield, and Matteo R. Belli and his partner Dan Bona of Hawaii; three grandchildren, Devon Labrie, Parker Labrie and Nathan Labrie; and many nieces and nephews. 



She was predeceased by her brothers, Alfred Roy Jr. and Joseph Roy; her sister, Catherine Matthews; and her sister-in-laws, Mary Roy and Clara Belli.



Funeral notice: A Celebration of Life service for Theresa Anna Belli will be held Monday, March 28, at 10 a.m. at Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, celebrated by the Rev. William P. Murphy, pastor of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta-St. Peter Church in Great Barrington. 



There are no calling hours. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
