PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Mary D. Mancari, 84, of Mt. Greylock Extended Care Facility and formerly of Berkshiretown Apts, 176 Columbus Ave., Pittsfield, died Monday, February 27, 2017, at Berkshire Medical Center.
She was born in Pittsfield on April 14, 1932, a daughter of the late Joseph Mancari and Nicolina (Ronco) Mancari Asci. Mary attended Pittsfield schools and graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1950. She was employed by Electric Supply and Repair Inc. in Pittsfield for 42 years and retired in 1994 and then worked for AdLib in Pittsfield for several years.
She was a communicant of St. Mark’s church and the former Mt. Carmel Church and was a member of the Sons of Italy ITAM Lodge #564.
Survivors include her brother, Francis A. Mancari and his wife Mary of Pittsfield and Cape Canaveral, Fla.; her sister Elizabeth A. Goodell of Pittsfield; her uncle Vito J. Ronco Jr. of Pittsfield; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Funeral notice: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday, March 6, 2017, at 10 a.m. at St. Mark's Church, 400 West St., Pittsfield, with the Rev. David Aufiero, administrator, officiating. There are no calling hours and burial will be private.
