PITTSFIELD, Mass. — George O. Malloy, 63 of Pittsfield passed away unexpectedly on Friday March 1, 2024 at his home.
He was born in North Adams, MA, on October 13,1960. He was the son of George Malloy of Adams and Shirley (Boillat) Llano of New Mexico. George attended schools in the Adams/ Cheshire Regional School District. He was employed for many years for H.A. George & Sons Fuel Corporation in North Adams as a boiler technician.
George had many hobbies and had a flair for DIY projects. He was considered a jack of all trades. He enjoyed restoring classic cars and restored several in his time. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed Classic Rock music.
George is survived by his father, George Malloy of Adams; sisters; Susan Malloy (Jamie Murphy) of Pittsfield, Donna Malloy of Adams, a brother, Gary Malloy (Sheri Siam) of Adams, Stepsisters; Carla Trumble-Davis (Larry) of Savoy and Michele Trumble-Jandran of Florence, South Carolina. He also leaves three daughters and several grandchildren. He was predeceased by his stepmothers; Stella (Randall) Malloy and Virginia Malloy, siblings, Allen Malloy and Jeffrey Malloy, stepbrother, Michael Trumble.
There will be no calling hours and services for George will be private.
