Known for her outstanding cooking abilities, Therese would gather family and friends together for parties and holidays to the delight of those who could come for the food, but all were looking for her famous chocolate chip cookies. Also, she never forgot family birthdays and anniversaries, sending countless cards for each occasion.

In addition to her parents, Therese was predeceased by her brother John Quinlan and wife, Barbara, her sister, Martha Barry and husband, Joe and sister-in-law, Maureen Quinlan.

She is survived by her husband, Paul of Lenox, MA and sons, Stephen (Patti), of North Adams, MA, and Michael(Rebecca) of Winter Garden, FL, grandchildren, Madeline and Quinlan Nesbit of North Adams, MA, a brother, David Quinlan of Lenox, MA and a sister, Sr. Connie Quinlan, SSJ of Holyoke, MA.

Paul, Stephen and Michael send sincere gratitude to the Nursing and Support Staff of the Kimball Farms Nursing Care Center for their loving and deeply compassionate care for Therese during her eight years with them.

Funeral services for Therese will be Friday, August 15, 2025, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Ann's Church in Lenox, celebrated by the Msgr. John Bonzagni, Pastor. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Recollections & Sympathy For the Family

So sorry to hear of Mrs. Nesbit's passing. She was my third grade teacher at Williams School, and I will always remember her warmth and kindness. One of my fondest memories is hearing her sing "Irish Eyes Are Smiling" over the intercom every St. Patrick’s Day. It was a tradition we all looked forward to, and it perfectly captured her joyful spirit and love for her students. Please know that her influence lives on in the many lives she touched. I’m grateful to have been one of them, and I’m keeping your family in my thoughts during this difficult time.
