Audrey Turner, 79, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., formerly of Pittsfield, died Sunday at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart, Fla.
Born in Carnforth, Lancashire, England, on May 29, 1921, daughter of David and Edith Capewell Kay, she lived in Pittsfield before moving to Port St. Lucie, where she had resided for 20 years.
She retired as a bookbinder from the former Sheaffer Eaton Co. after 25 years of service.
She enjoyed ceramics, traveling, reading and crosswords puzzles.
She leaves her husband of 60 years, Fred Turner; a daughter, Carole Garstang of Troy, Mich., and a granddaughter.
Services were conducted yesterday at AYCOCK FUNERAL HOME, Port St. Lucie, Fla. Those who wish may contribute to Hospice of Martin & St. Lucie Inc., 2030 SE Ocean Boulevard, Stuart, FL 34996.
