Adele T. Weed, 93, formerly of 46 Broadway, died yesterday at Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility.
Born in Lenox on July 10, 1907, daughter of Eugene and Mary Monnot Tamagne, she was a 1925 graduate of Lenox Memorial High School.
She was employed in retailing for all of her professional life, and worked at the former Wallace Co. and then at England Brothers until it closed in 1988.
She enjoyed working around her home and tending her yard.
Her husband, Eugene Weed, whom she married July 27, 1936, died Feb. 2, 1993.
She leaves nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in the Fairmont Cemetery in Lee. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to Parkinson's Disease Foundation in care of the funeral home.
