Hazel St. John, 93, formerly of 9 Park St., died Saturday afternoon at the Center for Optimum Care.
Born in St. Albans, Vt., on March 13, 1908, daughter of Arthur and Ella Mossey Bonyea, she was educated in schools there and came to Pittsfield as a young woman.
Mrs. St. John was employed as a licensed practical nurse at the former Pittsfield General Hospital for almost 20 years. She retired in 1971.
She attended Notre Dame Church.
Her husband, Henry St. John, died in 1975.
She leaves a son, Marshall L. St. John of Rochester, Wash.; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Another son, Paul P. St. John, died last year.
The funeral will be conducted tomorrow at 10 at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Earl Hebert, pastor of Notre Dame Church. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery at a later date.
