Rose Ann Roe, 67, of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of Pittsfield, died June 7 at home.
Born in Lansingburgh, N.Y., on March 31, 1934, daughter of Fred and Anna Cleary Phelan, she attended Russell Sage College, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, St. Peter's Nursing School and Northern Arizona University. She lived in Pittsfield from 1959 until she moved to Arizona in 1978.
She formerly worked as a nurse.
Mrs. Roe was active in civic and community affairs, particularly in the health field.
She leaves a son, James Roe of Huntington Beach, Calif.; three daughters, Barbara McCarron of Martha's Vineyard, Pamela Forde of Boston and Jessica Roe of Phoenix; two sisters, Charlotte Lennek of Ellicott City, Md., and Mary Wiley of Speigletown, N.Y., and three grandchildren.
