Rozalia Jancewicz, 94, formerly of 21 Turner Ave., died yesterday at Wolcott Hall Nursing Home in Torrington, Conn.
Born in Machnowka, Poland, on July 12, 1907, daughter of Tytus and Barbara Szydlo Borek, she had resided in Pittsfield since Dec. 22, 1951, and in Torrington since 1995.
Mrs. Jancewicz was employed in the housekeeping department at the former St. Luke's Hospital.
She was a communicant of Holy Family Church.
Her husband, Julian Jancewicz, died Feb. 10, 1995.
She leaves a son, Joseph S. Jancewicz of Torrington, Conn.; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Steven Jancewicz, who died Jan. 7, 1996.
Funeral services will be tomorrow, Friday, June 15, at 10:15 a.m. from DWYER FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Holy Family Church, celebrated by the Rev. Eugene Suszek, pastor. Burial will follow in the Pittsfield Cemetery. Calling hours will be at DWYER FUNERAL HOME today, Thursday, from 5 to 7. If friends desire, donations may be made to Holy Family Church in care of DWYER FUNERAL HOME in her memory.
