Marjorie Goldsmith Cornacchio, 82, of Duxbury, formerly of Pittsfield, died June 21.
Born in Pittsfield on June 23, 1923, daughter of John E. and Mildred Pratt Bergain, she was a 1941 graduate of Pittsfield High School and attended secretarial school.
Mrs. Cornacchio formerly worked at General Electric Co.
Her first husband, William T. Goldsmith, whom she married in 1946, died in 1982.
She and her husband, John Cornacchio, were married in 1984.
Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Susan Heymsfeld of Princeton, N.J.; a son, Robert Goldsmith of Palmdale, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Janet Cornacchio of Scituate and Gina Leahy of Cohasset; a granddaughter, and four step-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Marjorie Goldsmith Cornacchio, who died Wednesday, June 21, 2006, was the loving wife of John Cornacchio of Duxbury; widow of William T. Goldsmith; loving mother of Susan Heymsfeld and her husband, Joel, of New Jersey and of Robert Goldsmith of California; stepmother of Janet Cornacchio and her husband, Richard Horn, of Scituate, and Gina Leahy and her husband, Edward, of Cohasset; sister-in-law of Anthony Cornacchio and Robert Cornacchio, both of New York, and Alfred Cornacchio of New Jersey; cherished grandmother of Margaret Heymsfeld of New York, and devoted step-grandmother of Gregory Horn, and John, Alexandra and Ryan Leahy.
