Sharleen T. Kotski, 55, of 63 Plymouth St. died Sunday at her home.
Born in Pittsfield on July 30, 1951, daughter of Marie Massacani Kucka of Pittsfield and the late Charles A. Kucka, she was educated in Pittsfield schools and attended St. Joseph's High School.
She was a lifelong resident of Pittsfield.
A homemaker, she had worked at one time at the House of Mercy, St. Luke's Hospital and A.H. Rice Silk Mill in Pittsfield.
She was a communicant of St. Mark Church.
She enjoyed camping, traveling and sightseeing.
She and her husband, Stephen A. Kotski Sr., were married in 1968 in St. Mary's Church. He died on Sept. 22, 2002.
Besides her mother, of Pittsfield, she leaves a son, Stephen A. Kotski Jr. of Pittsfield; a daughter, Dawn M. Hertzberg of Pittsfield; two sisters, Beverly Russell and Rosemarie Dunham, both of Pittsfield; and three grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Sharleen T. Kotski, who died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2006, will be held Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. from the DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mark Church celebrated by the Rev. John Salatino, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Sharleen also leaves her three grandchildren, whom she enjoyed spending time with: Amber Hertzberg and Aiden and Gabe Kotski. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in memory of Sharleen may be made to the St. Joseph's Church Food Pantry in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
