Paul David Ranzoni, 49, of 26 Second St. died Thursday at home.
Born in North Adams on Oct. 24, 1956, son of Raymond P. and Barbara West Ranzoni, he graduated from Drury High School in 1975 and attended the former Lowell Technical College.
Mr. Ranzoni was employed by C.R. Porter Builders in Pittsfield. He previously was employed by various construction companies throughout Berkshire County.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a life member of North American Hunting Club.
He also was a fan of the New York Giants.
He was married to the former Candace Kelley. .
Besides his wife and parents, of North Adams, he leaves two sons, David P. Ranzoni and Derrick D. Ranzoni, both of Pittsfield; two brothers, Robert K. Ranzoni of Manchester, Conn., and Raymond J. Ranzoni of North Adams; and two sisters, Rhonda L. Armel of Miami and Ramona J.R. LaFrance of Manchester, Conn.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Paul David Ranzoni, who died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006, will be Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 9 from AUGE-SAN SOUCIE-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, with a service conducted at 10 at First Congregational Church in North Adams by the Rev. Jill Graham, pastor.
Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association through the funeral home, 46 North Church St., North Adams, MA 01247.
He also leaves two sisters-in-law, Melissa (Robert) and Trina (Raymond) Ranzoni; two brothers-in-law, Fernando Armel and Thomas LaFrance; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
