Rosemary Frances Bush, 74, of 54 Winter St. died Monday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 31, 1931, daughter of Philip D. and Mary J. Monterosso Litano Mathes, she was educated in local schools.
She was primarily a homemaker.
Mrs. Bush was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall for the past 45 years.
She enjoyed walking.
Her husband, Stanley C. Bush, whom she married Jan. 18, 1952, died May 29, 1991.
She leaves three sons, Steven P. and Jonathan P. Bush, both of Pittsfield, and Daniel S. Bush of Greenfield; a daughter, Sharon E. Massey of Pittsfield, with whom she made her home; five brothers, Frank A. Litano of Memphis, Tenn., Philip A. Litano, Anthony P. Litano, Charles P. Litano and John L. Mathes Sr., all of Pittsfield; four sisters, Elizabeth Pecholes and Vera Constance Tiffany, both of Pittsfield, Delores Litano of Revere, and Patricia Fillio of Lenox Dale; and two granddaughters.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Rosemary F. Litano Bush, who died Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME, with Elder James Lambert of the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Thursday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to The Jimmy Fund in care of the funeral home, 40 Maplewood Ave., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
Mrs. Bush was an avid walker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her two granddaughters, Heather Ann and Breanna A. Massey of Pittsfield, and her son-in-law, with whom she made her home, James C. Massey. She will be sadly missed by her family and her two dogs, Cassidy and Oscar.
