Edna D. Pelletier, 94, of Union Court died Sunday at Springside of Pittsfield, where she had resided for three days.
Born in Lawrence on Jan. 29, 1912, daughter of James and Delia Robidoux Sheridan, she was educated in schools there.
She moved to Pittfield in 1933 and in 1961 returned to Lawrence. She returned to the Berkshires in 1991. She also resided at Cameron House in Lenox at one time.
She was a communicant of St. Charles' Church and enjoyed ceramics, playing bingo and knitting.
Her husband, Edgar Pelletier, whom she married in 1936, died in 1988.
She leaves a son, Ronald J. Pelletier of Pittsfield; a sister, Catherine Nault of North Andover; and two grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Edna D. Pelletier, who died Oct. 1, 2006, will be celebrated Friday, Oct. 6, at 10 at St. Charles' Church by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor. Following cremation, burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery in Lawrence.
There will be no calling hours. She leaves two grandchildren, David and Gerry Anne Pelletier. She was predeceased by six brothers and a sister. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles' Church in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201, which is in charge of arrangements.
